Ph.D. in Law (DLS) The Ph.D. programme in Law enables you to get scientifically involved in a research project (doctoral thesis) on a legal subject. Our Ph.D. programme is designed for holders of Master's degrees in law, who would like to enlarge upon their legal education. Embedded in a differentiated didactical overall concept, the education comprises two phases: ■ Course phase (doctoral seminars, research proposal and colloquium) ■ Thesis phase (writing the thesis, defence) These components are supplemented with various education and coaching elements, such as the research workshop or discussions with the coaches. Admission to Ph.D. studies As a matter of principle, you can be admitted to Ph.D. studies if you have a recognized Master's or diploma degree.
